Steve Malzberg

Steve Malzberg has fast become one of America's most recognizable faces and voices on the political talk scene. He has been recognized by both Talkers Magazine, and The Political Junkies Handbook as one of the nations Top 100 Talk Show Hosts. He has also been named Man of the Year by the New York City Patrolman's Benevolent Association (PBA) for 2004.

After more than 23 years at WABC Radio in New York City, Steve has joined New York's WWRL Radio (1600 on the AM dial) where he co-hosts the WWRL Morning Show Monday-Friday from 6-10 AM. The show is streamed live at www.WWRL1600.com .

Steve left WABC as the number one overnight host in all of New York Radio, notching an unheard of 10.1 rating with all of those listeners 12 years old and over in the Arbitron Ratings for the Summer of 2004.

His quick wit and biting analysis of the days events have earned him a huge and loyal following not only in the New York area, but throughout the nation.

Steve is perhaps best known for his ability to snag the top newsmakers of the moment for interviews, and using his warm engaging personality to get his guests to open up. He has won several N.Y. A.I.R. Awards (Achievement In Radio) for "Best Interview" in both the news and sports area. He has also won the A.I.R. Award for Best Regularly Scheduled Non-Music Show.

Steve is among the most sought after "talking heads" and has appeared regularly on MSNBC as a contributor to the Phil Donahue Show and a fill-in host for Joe Scarborough on Scarborough Country. You will also find Steve very often stopping by Fox & Friends on the Fox News Channel, and appearing from time to time on various CNN shows.

Steve is married and lives in Bergen County New Jersey with his wife and son. He has been honored by many groups including The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, The New York State Shields, United Cuban Organizations, The Chinese-American Society, Retired Detectives of The Police Department of the City of New York, Detectives Crime Clinic-Metropolitan New Jersey and New York, American Legion of Little Neck, N.Y., The Department of Veterans Affairs and Steve was given the Distinguished American Award-Bergen County Chapter of the National Football and College Hall of Fame.
