The al-Qaida terrorist and nuclear expert linked to the JFK airport bombing plot was last seen in Guyana with a wealthy businessman — who was murdered last month.
The name of Adnan el-Shukrijumah surfaced several times during the FBI’s surveillance of the JFK plotters’ phone conversations.
Shukrijumah, a Guyanese native who grew up in New York City, has been hand-picked by al-Qaida to orchestrate a nuclear attack on several U.S. cities, according to Paul Williams, author of the new book "The Day of Islam: The Annihilation of America and the Western World.”[Editor's Note: Paul Williams details Shukrijumah's exploits in his new book "The Day of Islam: The Annihilation of America and the Western World." Authorities hoped the JFK plot surveillance would lead to his capture, but had to pull the plug on their probe and make arrests when one of the alleged conspirators planned to fly from Trinidad to Venezuela, where the U.S. has no extradition rights.

Officials were left only with Shukrijumah’s last known sighting, according to the New York Post — when he sought refuge with Guyanese foreign-currency exchange mogul Farouk Razac at Razac’s home in the Guyanese capital, Georgetown, in 2004.
A local resident shown pictures of Shukrijumah by U.S. officials said he was "90 percent” certain he’d seen the terrorist with Razac, who had known terror ties, according to the Post.
Razac was found strangled in his mansion on May 8. His wife Carolan Lynch, the current Mrs. South America, has been charged in his death, but she denies any involvement.
The U.S. has placed a $5 million bounty on his head.
Williams notes that according to FBI officials, Shukrijumah "is the most dangerous person in the Western world.”
