A statewide poll of New York voters shows Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton widening her leads over Democrats and Republicans in the race for the White House.
In a Siena College survey of New York voters, New York's junior senator leads Senator Barack Obama of Illinois - 42 percent to 13 percent - in the battle for the Democratic nomination. That 29-point lead is up from last month's 22-point lead over Obama.
The Siena poll has Clinton leading former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani 52 percent to 39 percent among New York voters in a possible general election matchup.
The April poll from Siena had Clinton at 48 percent and Giuliani at 43 percent.

Giuliani continues to be far ahead of the Republican field in New York for the GOP nomination. The latest poll has Giuliani at 52 percent and Senator John McCain of Arizona at 14 percent among Republican contenders.
