Poll: Hillary Leads Obama by 29 Points in N.Y.

A statewide poll of New York voters shows Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton widening her leads over Democrats and Republicans in the race for the White House.

In a Siena College survey of New York voters, New York's junior senator leads Senator Barack Obama of Illinois - 42 percent to 13 percent - in the battle for the Democratic nomination. That 29-point lead is up from last month's 22-point lead over Obama.

The Siena poll has Clinton leading former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani 52 percent to 39 percent among New York voters in a possible general election matchup.

The April poll from Siena had Clinton at 48 percent and Giuliani at 43 percent.
