CNN's Lou Dobbs has been named as "special contributor" to CBS News' "The Early Show." He'll contribute weekly commentaries to the program starting April 10.
Dobbs presently serves as anchor and managing editor of CNN’s "Lou Dobbs Tonight.” He also anchors a nationally syndicated financial news radio report, "The Lou Dobbs Financial Report.”
Dobbs will reportedly retain his responsibilites at CNN, which he helped launch in 1980, serving as anchor of "Moneyline.”
The outspoken anchor has been a vocal critic of U.S. immigration policy, the war on terrorism and what he calls the economic squeeze on the nation's middle class.
