Jeb Bush Won't See Al Gore Movie
Florida Gov. Jeb Bush met with scientists last week to discuss the possible connection between global warming and increased hurricane activity, but said he’ll pass on seeing Al Gore’s global warming documentary "An Inconvenient Truth.” "No, I’m not going to do that,” he replied when asked by a reporter if he’d see the movie. Bush then offered a short review of the new movie "X-Men: The Last Stand,” which he called "excellent.” Bush pointed out that Gore’s movie had registered about $500,000 in ticket sales, while "X-Men” had taken in more than $130 million.
Story Continues Below "So I was in the majority of opinion, apparently, on that, in terms of entertainment,” he said. Bush was also asked for his opinion of "The Da Vinci Code,” the Lakeland Ledger reports. "I liked the book a lot better,” he answered. "The movie was disappointing.” Bush then joked about his plans for a career after he leaves office in January: "Movie critic. That’s what I’m going to do.”
