CNN political analyst Bill Schneider reports that Americans now believe ex-President Clinton was more honest than his successor, George Bush.
"Which president do Americans now consider more honest and trustworthy? A close call, but slightly more people say Clinton," Schneider said on Friday.
Asked which of the two presidents was more honest, 46 percent of those surveyed by CNN picked Clinton, who was impeached in 1998 for lying to a grand jury and a federal judge in the Paula Jones-Monica Lewinsky case.
41 percent told CNN that Bush was more honest than Clinton.

Said Schneider: "The controversies over weapons of mass destruction and CIA leaks have taken a toll on President Bush's reputation."
He then asked: "Could a wave of Clinton nostalgia be setting in?"
