Democratic diva Barbra Streisand is weighing in on the Portgate controversy, saying that President Bush deserves to be impeached for "pushing his luck" by selling out America's security to a country with "terrorist affiliations."
In the latest rant posted to her Web site, the left-wing songstress first lists all the complaints that prompted her to call for Bush's impeachment two months ago, and then unloads on the ports controversy:
"When no one thought that this president could push his luck any further, the administration disclosed that they are in the midst of closing a $6.8 billion deal to give a company owned by the United Arab Emirates management of six American ports."
The wealthy warbler says she's ferreted out "the true motives" of the Bush ports deal.

"While the Bush administration is trying to quietly slip this port security deal under the radar, they are simultaneously negotiating a free trade agreement with the U.A.E."
She laments that the Republican controlled Congress will never impeach Bush, so it's up to the American people to vote Democrats into the leadership to get the job done:
"Only if this occurs," Streisand warns, "can we even begin to imagine a time when there will be a myriad of investigations so desperately needed on so many issues - let alone the ultimate investigation which would involve the conduct of the president of the United States and the determination of whether his actions warranted impeachment proceedings."
