Rick Santorum Concedes to Bob Casey in Penn.

Rick Santorum came to the podium, with tears in the eyes of his young daughter, and said that he had called Senator-elect Bob Casey and wished him the very best.

Santorum also said he pledged his support to Casey for the people of Pennsylvania.

He congratulated Casey on running an excellent campaign, and said Casey is a fine man who will do a fine job for Pennsylvania.

Santorum said that he wanted to thank God for blessing his family with the opportunity to serve the "greatest country in the history of the world," and the "greatest state in the country."

After thanking his family, Santorum said that for 16 years they have been serving Pennsylvania, and that now he had the opportunity "to be a better husband and father to wonderful family."
