Nancy Pelosi: 'Cautiously Optimistic' for Democrats

Democratic House minority leader Nancy Pelosi spent her Sunday campaigning across Connecticut. It's where her party hopes to pick up three of the 15 seats they need to regain control of the U.S.House.

Pelosi says she's cautiously optimistic about the party's chances on Tuesday.

In Colchester, Pelosi said: "We are thankful for where we are today, to be poised for success." But, she added, "We have two Mount Everests we have to climb - they are called Monday and Tuesday."

The Democrats appear increasingly confident they can ride a wave of public disenchantment with the administration's policies to victory in the House and, possibly, the Senate.
