Sen. Jon Kyl Warns of Shenanigans at Polls

U.S. Senator Jon Kyl of Arizona is asking Republicans with legal experience to go to the polls Tuesday and keep an eye out for mischief.

The Republican incumbent warned supporters at a campaign stop that critics of Arizona's new voter I.D. law will be out on election day too. He said they'll be looking for examples of people not being allowed to vote.

Kyl says Republican lawyers should be present in case these critics try to disrupt the election process.

A spokesman for Kyl's opponent Jim Pederson criticized Kyl's request as a scare tactic meant to suppress voter turnout.

The spokesman said Pedreson encourages anyone who wants to vote to go ahead and cast a ballot.
