Sen. McCain: Americans Could Forgive Kerry
Senator John McCain of Arizona says that Americans will likely forgive Senator John Kerry's remarks about troops in Iraq.
At a Republican rally in Duluth, Minn., McCain was asked if Kerry's comments would be wielded as a campaign tactic through Election Day.
McCain replied that he has made numerous mistakes in his career and sometimes has even told a bad joke.
McCain said, "I just apologized. Americans are very forgiving. If Senator Kerry apologizes, I think we could move on."
