The race for the U.S. Senate seat up for grabs in Missouri is going down to the wire.
According to RealClearPolitics.com, incumbent Republican Sen. Jim Talent and Democratic challenger Claire McCaskill are neck-and-neck in the final days of the campaign.
RealClearPolitics examined five recent polls, and calculated Talent's average support at 47.2 percent, compared to 46.2 percent for McCaskill. However, 4.8 percent of voters remain undecided -- and they will determine the winner.
The most recent poll cited was the Research 2000 survey, which showed both candidates at 47 percent, with 4 percent undecided.

Maryland: The RealClearPolitics average of three polls shows Democrat Ben Cardin at 50 percent of the vote, and Republican Michael Steele at 44.7 percent.
The most recent poll cited was the Rasmussen survey, which showed Cardin at 50 percent, and Steele at 45 percent, with 3 percent undecided.
New Jersey: The RealClearPolitics average of five polls shows Democrat Robert Menendez with 44.6 percent of the vote, and Republican Thomas Kean Jr. with 41.8 percent, with 9.2 percent of voters undecided.
The most recent poll cited was the Rasmussen survey, which showed both candidates tied at 45 percent, and 6 percent undecided.
Pennsylvania: The RealClearPolitics average of five polls shows Democrat Bob Casey with 53.3 percent of the vote, Republican Rick Santorum with 39.7 percent, and 5 percent undecided.
The most recent poll cited was the Rasmussen survey, which showed Casey at 55 percent, Santorum at 42 percent, and 2 percent undecided.
