Two top New York Times reporters say they will take on Hillary Clinton's "enemies" in a new book due out a year before the 2008 presidential election.
Jeff Gerth and Don Van Atta have reportedly inked a million dollar deal with publisher Little, Brown to write what the New York Daily News descibes as a "comprehensive biography" about Mrs. Clinton.
But don't look for any new details about the Monica Lewsinky scandal - or any other aspect that might intrude upon Mrs. Clinton legendary "zone of privacy."
Gerth, who broke the Whitewater story for the Times, and Van Atta, who reported his share of Monicagate scoops, will instead focus their attention elsewhere.
"It will be a look at her career, and a look at her enemies as well," Gerth told News scribe Lloyd Grove.
Apparently the Times duo wants to give Hillary a chance to flesh out her "vast right wing conspiracy" theory, with Van Natta adding: "I think she should welcome the opportunity to cooperate with us."
