Rush Blasts McCain for 'Middle Finger'
Top radio talker Rush Limbaugh scorched Sen. John McCain on Tuesday, hours after the Arizona Republican persuaded six of his colleagues to give Senate Democrats effective control over President Bush's judicial nominations for the rest of the 109th Congress.
"We had McCain-Feingold, this is McCain, the middle finger," he told his audience, referring to the maverick GOP'er's signature campaign finance reform law.

Noting that McCain-Feingold was supposed to eliminate influence peddling by fat-cat donors, Limbaugh asked: "What did it do? It opened the floodgates to George Soros and others to gin up those 527 organizations."
During the 2004 presidential campaign, Soros contributed over $24 million to Democrats through 527 groups like MoveOn.org.
Limbaugh predicted that McCain's judicial filibuster deal will come unraveled even more quickly, saying, "I wouldn't be surprised if it's as soon as the next circuit judge nominee."
