Six weeks after declaring that Israel should be "wiped off the map," Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is urging that the Jewish state be relocated to Europe.
"The Zionists can establish their state in Europe," Ahmadinejad told reporters Thursday while visiting in the Saudi Arabian city of Mecca. "If the Europeans are honest they should give some of their provinces in Europe -- like in Germany, Austria or other countries -- to the Zionists."
"You offer part of Europe and we will support it," the Iranian leader insisted, in quotes picked up by Reuters.
Ahmadinejad suggested the move while explaining that he doubted that the Nazi Holocaust had ever taken place.

"Some European countries insist on saying that Hitler killed millions of innocent Jews in furnaces and they insist on it to the extent that if anyone proves something contrary to that they condemn that person and throw them in jail," Ahmadinejad said.
"We don't accept this claim," he stated flatly.
On Oct. 27, President Ahmadinejad told a "World Without Zionism" conference that Israel is a "disgraceful blot" on the Middle East that should be "wiped off the map."
Earlier this week, United Nations nuclear watchdog Mohammed ElBaradei warned that Iran would have the capacity to produce nuclear weapons within several months.
