Martha Stewart Endorses Hillary for Prez

Domestic diva Martha Stewart said this week that she supports Hillary Clinton for president, explaining that the former first lady "would do a very good job."

Stewart tells Business Week editor-in-chief Stephen Adler that Hillary was at the top of her list of presidential prospects.

In quotes picked up by the web site JustHillary.com, the recently freed jailbird declared: "I think [Hillary Clinton] would do a wonderful job."

The endorsement comes despite a snub from Hillary's campaign in the wake of Stewart's 2004 conviction for lying to investigators in the ImClone insider trading case, when team Hillary returned her $1,000 contribution.

Still, the doyenne of domesticity seems willing to let bygones be bygones, telling Business Week, "I think it would be very difficult and a big struggle for [Clinton], but I think she of all women out there would do a very good job."

"If there is a woman running, I will be voting for the woman," Stewart added. "And maybe it's time for a woman President."
