The results of a three-day poll of 800 likely Georgia voters conducted by Strategic Vision, LLC from October 21-23, showed strong support for former Christian Coalition leader Ralph Reed.
In the hotly contested Republican contest for Lieutenant Governor, Reed is viewed favorably by 45% of Republicans with 35% viewing him unfavorably and 20% undecided.
Meanwhile, in potential match-ups between Governor Sonny Perdue and Lt. Governor Mark Taylor, the results were Perdue 55%; Taylor 37%; and 8% undecided. Against secretary of state Cathy Cox, the results were Perdue 54%; Cox 40%, and 6% undecided.

On national issues, when asked if they approved of President Bush's nomination of Harriet Miers to replace Sandra Day O'Connor on the United States Supreme Court, 45% approved; 34% disapproved; and 21% were undecided.
When asked if they would like to see the Supreme Court overturn Roe v. Wade, 54% said yes; 38% said no; and 8% were undecided.
On the race for President, when Republicans were polled on whom they would support in 2008 for the Republican Presidential nomination, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani received 25%; Senator John McCain received 18%; and Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich 15%.
Others in the running include Senator Bill Frist, who received 5%; Virginia Senator George Allen received 5%; Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney received 2%; Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum received 2%; New York Governor George Pataki received 1%; Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel received 1%; and 26% were undecided.
Meanwhile, when Republicans were asked if they would like to see Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice run in 2006, 38% said yes; 25% said no; and 37% were undecided.
When Secretary Rice was included the poll on whom they would support in 2008 for the Republican Presidential nod, the results were, Giuliani with 22%; McCain 15%; Gingrich 13%; Rice 11%; Frist 3%; Allen 3%; Romney 1%; Santorum 1%; Pataki 1%; Hagel 1%; and 29% undecided.
On the Democratic side, New York Senator Hillary Clinton led with 36%; Massachusetts Senator John Kerry received 14%; former Vice President Al Gore received 12%.
Other receiving support include John Edwards at 9%; former General Wesley Clark received 6%; Virginia Governor Mark Warner received 4%; Delaware Senator Joseph Biden received 2%; Indiana Senator Evan Bayh received 1%; New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson received 1%; Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell received 1%; Iowa Governor Tom Vilsak received 1%; California Senator Barbara Boxer received 1%; and 12% were undecided.
