Jerry Springer Tries Talk Radio
Trash TV king Jerry Springer is about to try his hand at political talk radio, saying he wants to be the liberal alternative to Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.
Talk radio needs "a voice on the other side," Springer told the New York Post's John Mainelli on Monday, explaining that he wants to counter "the Republican noise machine."

The TV gabber will launch his three-hour, daily radio show from Cincinnati next Monday, with plans for a national roll out beginning in February on about a dozen Clear Channel stations.
"We'll talk about serious things in the world, but it's going to be fun as well," he told the paper.
Springer said his show will feature "my rantings and comedy bits" as well as "Team Springer" — his TV sidekicks. He'll continue his wild and wacky TV show by commuting to Chicago for tapings.
