Cheneys Slam Kerry's Call for 'Sensitive' War on Terrorism
John Kerry has tried to act tough and avoid the fatal error of looking like wimpy Michael Dukakis, Jimmy Carter or Walter Mondale, but his call for a "more sensitive" war on terrorism is causing him all sorts of embarrassment.
"America has been in too many wars for any of our wishes, but
not a one of them was won by being sensitive," Vice President Dick Cheney said in remarks prepared for delivery today in Dayton Ohio. "A sensitive war will not destroy the evil men who killed 3,000 Americans. ... The men who beheaded Daniel Pearl and Paul Johnson will not be impressed by our sensitivity."

Cheney said none of America's heroes would follow Kerry's advice.
"President Lincoln and General Grant didn't wage sensitive
wars. Nor did President Roosevelt or Generals Eisenhower and
MacArthur."
'So Foolish'
Kerry lacks "deeply held convictions about right and wrong," the vice president noted Wednesday during a forum in Joplin, Mo.
When a citizen asked Lynne Cheney "what in the world" Kerry was thinking about when he made the statement to a group of biased pro-Democrat media types, she replied:
"I just kind of shook my head when I heard that. With all due respect to the senator, it just sounded so foolish. I can't imagine that al-Qaida is going to be impressed by
sensitivity."
