Oops: Some of Kerry's Divorce Records Already Open
Sen. John Kerry keeps insisting that he won't make his divorce records available to the public. But "he apparently didn't know many of them already are," the Associated Press reported today.
Kerry and Julia Thorne cited the generic "irretrievable breakdown of the marriage" in getting their "no-fault" divorce in 1988, according to the files. The couple were separated for the final third of their 18-year marriage.

Kerry's handler Stephanie Cutter said when the candidate said he
wouldn't make his divorce records public, "he was probably thinking about the pieces that are sealed." Probably.
Still no word on whether the Chicago Tribune and others in Big Media will try to do to Kerry what they did to Jack Ryan, the Republicans' U.S. Senate nominee in Illinois.
