Kerry Fumes at 'Republican' ABC

Is the network of Peter Jennings, Diane Sawyer, George Stephanopoulos, Charles Gibson and Baba Wawa part of a vast right-wing conspiracy? Yes, if you believe Sen. John Kerry.

In yet another "accidental" microphone mishap, Kerry groused into a live mike after his unfortunate appearance on the fourth-place network Monday, "God, they're doing the work of the Republican National Committee," wire services reported today.

Was the gaffe actually orchestrated as an attempted show of toughness? Could be. Consider his previous microphone boo-boo: telling supporters that those who dare question him were "the most crooked, you know, lying group" he had ever seen.
