Exclusive: Kirkpatrick Will Testify Against U.N. Power Grab
WASHINGTON - NewsMax.com's Wes Vernon has learned that former U.N. Ambassador Jeanne Kirkpatrick, whose indictments of the blame-America-first crowd have reverberated through debates on foreign policy for two decades, will testify against the controversial Law of the Sea Treaty next week.
The Senate Armed Services Committee has scheduled a hearing on the treaty (apt acronym: LOST) for Thursday.
Committee Chairman John Warner, R-Va., a supporter of the treaty, originally had not planned to hold the hearing, having been satisfied that the Senate Foreign Relations Committee had rammed it through with no opponents testifying.
However, NewsMax readers and other outraged Americans have flooded Capitol Hill with protests that the treaty had not been given a fair hearing.
Kirkpatrick was a key player in President Ronald Reagan’s administration and its success in bringing down the Soviet Union.
Keep checking NewsMax for updates on the U.N.'s sovereignty-destroying, security-endangering treaty, which most media are ignoring.
