Dean Hits Kerry on Botox Treatments
Hours after saying he intended to keep attacking the Democratic front-runner as his rivals had attacked him when he led the pack, former front-runner Howard Dean took a swipe at John Kerry for allegedly taking wrinkle-removing Botox injections.
During a conference call to Super Bowl parties of his supporters, Dean spotted an elderly looking long-haired singer on the pregame show, reports the New York Daily News.
"Is that Willie Nelson?" Dean asked. "It looks like he got Botox injections, too."
Dean quickly added that he hadn't identified the other Botox recipient, but his comment left little doubt as to the barb's intended direction.
Last week Kerry was forced to respond to the Botox rumors, protesting a little too much in comments to WRKO radio in Boston.
"I've never even heard it. Where did this come from? ... I've never even heard of it, never heard of it," the Democratic front-runner repeatedly insisted.
