Dan Rather Talks to Ghost

Now it can be told: Dan Rather has an unimpeachable source - the ghost of Edward R. Murrow, who lives on the third floor at CBS headquarters and regularly chats with Gunga Dan.

"Ed Murrow's ghost is here," Rather told the Hollywood Reporter. "I've seen him and talked to him on the third floor of this building many times late at night. And I can tell you that he's watching over us."

Rather says he chats with the ghost of the legendary CBS newsman but neglected to report what the two talk about.

Noted Ratherbiased.com, a Web site dedicated to unmasking Dan Rather's liberal bias, the admission "made us wonder if Dan Rather does know the frequency, and has been receiving messages from it into his head, as he takes bizarre behavior to a new level."

The Web site was referring to an incident in which Rather was attacked on a New York City sidewalk by a crazed man yelling "Kenneth, what is the frequency?"

Ratherbiased.com continued, "At least we know now why Dan stuck to his story on Memogate, as the ghost of the legendary WWII correspondent surely told Rather to stick it out and stand by the bogus documents to the bitter end.

"The anchor still won't admit that the memos are fake, most likely because the Ghost of CBS Past tells him otherwise."
