Edwards Poses as 'the Next Vice President'
Introduced as "the next vice president of the United States," lame duck Sen. John Edwards tried to cheer up the Democrat crowd in Boston's Copley Square early today.
"We've waited four years for this victory," he said with a straight face. "We can wait one more night."

He repeated an old Democrat theme: to count every "vote" ... while failing to distinguish between legal and illegal ballots.
"We will fight for every vote. You deserve no less," he said.
Does that include "votes" cast by illegal aliens and dead people?
