Kerry Rejects Ohio Call

John Kerry's presidential campaign is disputing the call by several TV networks that President Bush has won the Ohio vote.

In a statement issued at 1:30 a.m. EST Wednesday, Kerry campaign manager Mary Beth Cahill said:

"The vote count in Ohio has not been completed. There are more than 250,000 votes that remain to be counted. We believe when they are, John Kerry will win Ohio."

Ohio's Secretary of State reports that with 77% of the precincts reporting, there are an estimated 130,000 provisional ballots still uncounted.
