Hillary: Bush Brothers Have Undemocratic 'Track Record'
New York Sen. Hillary Clinton warned Saturday that President Bush and his brother Gov. Jeb Bush have a "track record" of undermining Democracy in Florida, an apparent reference to Democrat claims that the two Republicans conspired to rig the vote in the state's 2000 presidential election.
"If we were living in another country and we had the president of the country and his brother controlling one of the biggest provinces or states, we would ... have some doubts about whether, given their track record, they really believe in democracy," Clinton told about 300 cheering supporters in a theater in downtown West Palm Beach, according to the Associated Press.

The former first lady's accusation came as Floridians began to cast their ballots under the state's early voting provisions.
An investigation four years ago by Clinton Attorney General Janet Reno, as well as probes by numerous media organizations, failed to turn up any evidence to substantiate Sen. Clinton's claims.
Responding to charges from the Bush campaign that Kerry was soft on terrorism, Clinton also told the West Palm Beach crowd that they should follow the example of New Yorkers - who were most directly affected by the 9/11 attacks.
"Isn't it interesting that the people of New York, the ones who were attacked, have already figured out they can trust John Kerry?" she said.
