Franken Flings Fit at Flight Folks
When it comes to spoiled Hollywood behavior, Al Franken can apparently stay right with the best ... er, worst of them.
As hundreds of reporters and other newspeople were waiting patiently for anywhere up to three hours to get on flights back to their newsrooms, or on to New Hampshire, after the Iowa caucuses, Al Franken decided that the wall-to-wall peoplefest at the Des Moines arport was not for him.
The New York Post's Page Six reports that a "frenzied Franken marched to the front of the line."
One witness told Richard Johnson and his staff: "He threw a complete drama queen snit. He went up to the security check-in and kept whining, 'I can't miss my flight!' - but the security guards wouldn't even entertain it."
Other journos were not happy with the new, whining voice of liberal radio. They told the Post, "There were a lot of other players in the line and we were all shouting at him, 'Hey, we're here too!'"
