Arnold: McClintock and I Will Make a Good Team
California gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger extended an olive branch to his chief GOP rival after Wednesday night's one and only full-field debate before the Oct. 7 recall vote.
Speaking to reporters in spin alley about his performance, an optimistic Schwarzeenegger volunteered: "The great thing was with Senator McClintock, you know, that he and I agree on so many issues, which was good. And on some issues we don't but on many, many issues we do."
Then Schwarzenegger added: "I think that we could make a good team in Sacramento. I'm looking forward to working with him."
