Coulter in Talks for TV Show
Conservative firebreather Ann Coulter has parlayed the success of her smash hit book "Treason" into a possible TV show.
The writer with the right stuff told the New York Observer on Friday that her trip to the Left Coast this weekend has two purposes; to appear on Bill Maher's "Real Time" HBO show and to "meet with people" about the possibility of getting her own television gig.
"She declined to give details other than that she'll be the host," the Observer said.
Freshly returned from the Midwest swing of her book tour, Coulter had a few choice words about airport security, wondering why more attention wasn't paid to "swarthy Middle Eastern -- looking men with smoke pouring out of their trousers" while security guards "goose little old ladies [and] go pawing through my underwear."
"Why should we be polite to these people?" she asked. "These are people who would sign up for the SS."
