Gray Davis: Republicans 'Would Rather Shoot Their Mother ...'

How crazy is California Gov. Gray Davis? Consider this: "Republican ideology in Sacramento is that they would rather shoot their mother than raise any tax," he said on the campaign trail, the Los Angeles Times reported Thursday.

Sens. Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein were campaigning with him. Do they still want to be associated with him?

According to Davis' "logic," Democrats would rather shoot their mothers than lower any tax. Imagine the nationwide media uproar if any Republican said that.
