Rush's Lawyer Pleased by Judge's Stay

MIAMI – Judge Jeffrey A. Winikoff today issued a stay on his order yesterday regarding Rush Limbaugh's medical records, ordering the State Attorney's office not to examine Limbaugh's doctor's confidential files and to keep them sealed until Limbaugh's attorneys can complete the appeal of his earlier ruling.

Roy Black, Limbaugh's attorney said he was obviously pleased with the Judge's ruling.

He said, "As I stated earlier, while we are confident that an examination of the records will show there was no doctor shopping, but rather a legitimate need for the doctor visits, we are also confident that the facts will show that the State improperly seized these records and, further, there is no basis for them to have these records at all."
