One of the talented writers who has just signed on as a contributor at my daily Liberty Letters blog is Christian poet, philosopher, artist Tom Graffagnino.
His latest, a "light-hearted 'ode'.... (The tragic tale of the current, persistent, pyro-technic Demo-Demise)" was too delicious not to pass on to my readers at NewsMax.

And so without further ado, I give you Tom's latest:
Ode to Immolation or ('Beware … Combusti-Bull!')
'Twas the Demo-Left Obsession:
Burning Bush at any cost!
Throwing flames became their passion,
When their standard-bearers lost.
See the bitter root imbedded?
That's Acidic Mr. Dean!
You can sense the pressure building...
Bitter Blues...
And Jealous Greens.
"Yee-Haw" Howard takes the lectern,
Where he fans his fans to flame.
There combusti-bull's the program ...
Immolation is The Game.
Yes, this white, hot fellow bellows...
Hot air blowing...
Fevered brow.
And when ember-members smolder?
"Coals! Flame on!" he says...
"And N.O.W.!"
Howard's had no time to mellow...
The hot 'n' bothered flock to Dean!
Ms. Pelosi hands them matches...
Then soaks 'em down with gasoline.

Plan of action?... Temper Tantrum.
Motivation?... Seething Rage.
"Bush Lied!" 's their broken record.
Someone tell them...
"Turn the page!"
Now their platform's all in splinters ...
Kindling for their "talking points".
My! ... Their rhetoric's explosive!
Fuses lit.... They'll blow the joint!
Could it be The Party's over?
Like a nuke... just up in smoke?
Mushroom clouded politicians...
Who took one too many toke!
Yes, their Mission's Suicidal...
Demo-jihad rages on!
Battle crying: "We hate Dubya!"
(Just back off...
And watch 'em bomb.)
So, while World War Three is waging,
...severed heads and bloody gore...
We watch Demo-Lition Derby
Tip its hat to Michael Moore!

Now they finally found some slogans,
That should set the base on fire!
Catchy phrases geared for glory...
Sparking their own funeral pyre!
And that plank they're walking out on?
(Yes! They found a common thread!)
Waving signs they carry proudly:
"Things Look Grave!... Let's Tax the Dead!"
"Angry Dems for Euthanasia!"
"Fili-Bluster in the Streets!"
"Socialize!... Come to Our Party!"
"Support the Troops... (in full retreat)!"

Their youth-voter base?... Aborted!
Young Utopians?... Snuffed out.
Still The Party's belly-achin'...
Since dead YU-YU's don't turn out!
Dems are hurting at the polls N.O.W.
Since they've eaten all their young.
Thirty years of Roe v. Wading
Through the Swamp of "Sex for Fun!"

They're the Blue-State Angry Mourners,
Grabbing Assets at the door.
(That's the modus operandi...
Mr. Clinton's famous for!)
Now they plead...
"Come to our Party!"
It's the gig worth dying for!
Drink the hemlock...
Have a pretzel.
Sail with us to yonder shore!

Demo-Party's off the deep end,
Swimming in Hypocri-Sea...
It's the Power Plan of Teddy:
