  Asked if he was satisfied with the intervention efforts of President Bush, Dobson offered only tepid approval.

"I don't think he articulated Terri's situation and the arguments for the sanctity of life as well as I would have liked to have seen," he said, before shifting the attention to those that ordered the state-sanctioned starvation.

"I think it's time that the Congress fulfill its constitutional responsibility to reign in the courts," Dobson said. Referring to the constitutional system of checks and balances, he said that "the legislature and the executive branches check eachother, but neither of them check the courts."

Moments later, evangelist Pat Robertson echoed Dobson's statements. "The judiciary is out of control," he told the network, adding that he hopes Republicans use the so-called "nuclear option" to stop Democratic fillibustering that has prevented the naming of several high-level conservative judges.

Previously, Robertson had said the judicial rulings in the Terri Schiavo case amounted to "judicial execution."

Added the evangelist: "A convicted cop-killer wouldn't have gotten treatment like this. It's outrageous."
