Latest Zogby Tracking Shows Big Shift for Bush

The latest Zogby tracking poll out Sunday – with just 10 days till Election Day – shows President Bush
and Sen. Kerry still locked in a 2-point standoff – 48 percent to 46 percent.

But Zogby notes the president has turned in a second day of strong polling.
Pollster John Zogby: "Another good single day of polling for President Bush.
In today's sample alone, he leads 50% to 43% - the first time we've seen
either candidate hit 50%. Each candidate continues to tighten his own
constituency, and Undecided voters are now at only 4%."

The telephone poll of 1,207 likely voters
was conducted from Thursday through Saturday (Oct. 21-23, 2004). The
margin of error is +/- 2.9 percentage points.
