Democratic hopeful John Kerry continues to lead in six battleground states, and has surged to a tie in New Mexico, according to the latest Reuters/Zogby ten-state battleground poll. The poll also found President Bush continuing to lead in Ohio, Nevada and Colorado.

Shifting Battle for Tight States Continues
President Bush and Senator Kerry traded leads in four states in the see-saw battle for the White House, according to the latest Reuters/Zogby ten-state battleground poll. Mr. Bush now leads in Colorado, and is again ahead in Ohio and Iowa, while Mr. Kerry has overtaken the President in Florida and regained the lead in Minnesota and Pennsylvania. The telephone polls of approximately 600 likely voters per state were conducted from Tuesday through Friday (October 26-29, 2004). The margin of error is +/- 4.1 percentage points.

President Bush has moved into the lead in traditionally-Democratic Michigan and Minnesota, and has pulled even in Pennsylvania, according to the latest Reuters/Zogby ten-state battleground poll. Senator Kerry, meanwhile, has taken the lead in Iowa. The telephone polls of approximately 600 likely voters per state were conducted from Monday through Thursday (October 25-28, 2004).
