The survey of 501 likely primary voters was conducted Tuesday and Wednesday. The poll, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points, "is the first two-day primary voter sampling since last Monday's Iowa caucuses," the Herald reported. "The results mark a dramatic turnaround from a Herald survey published just eight days ago before Kerry's decisive Iowa win."
The big loser is Dean, who lead a week ago. "That odd speech in Iowa clearly hurt him," said pollster R. Kelly Myers. "At the same time, Kerry's decisive win in Iowa is clearly having a huge impact on New Hampshire."

The survey of 400 probable primary voters surveyed Tuesday and Wednesday had a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points. Note that the results for the top five candidates are identical to the poll taken by the rival Herald.
"The latest Boston Globe/WBZ tracking poll, which a day earlier had shown him 3 points ahead of Dean, a statistical dead heat, found that 19 percent of respondents were more likely to vote for Kerry after Iowa, while 19 percent said they were less likely to vote for Dean, whose disappointing third-place finish was followed by a concession speech that has been fodder for talk radio and late-night television hosts," the Globe reported today.
Gerry Chervinsky, president of KRC Communications Research, which conducted the survey, noted that the number of people who said they viewed Dean unfavorably had risen to 31 percent, up from 20 percent as recently as Sunday, while his favorability rating dropped to 49 percent.
"He's in serious trouble," Chervinsky said.
Clark's numbers "have been dropping since the caucuses" in Iowa, the Globe said.
