An Interesting Choice for McKinney's Campaign Coordinator

I just love it when listeners go out there and do a little digging for me. That's where this little bit came from.
A few days ago I was reading one of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's stories about the Cynthia McKinney
campaign. The article, which appeared on August 3rd, identified someone named Wendell Muhammad as
McKinney's "campaign coordinator." Wendell Muhammad is also known to some folks as Wendell Arnold.
Muhammad … that's sort of an Arabic/Islamic sounding name, isn't it?
Anyway ... turn the clocks back to March 18, 2000. Here we have a wire story from the Associated Press in which our friend, McKinney's
campaign coordinator, Wendell Muhammad, is identified as a spokesman for the Nation of Islam.
What a great part-time job for a Nation of Islam spokesman … coordinating a political campaign for Islam's "strategic choice" for Congress.
Wait! There's more! We have another Muhammad in the mix. This one is Brother Eric Ture Muhammad. He is the director of the Black African
Holocaust Council and the national correspondent for The Final Call, a newspaper published by Louis Farrakhan. Brother Eric Ture
Muhammad also served as the Communications Director for – guess who? Cynthia McKinney!!!
Is it any wonder that local elected officials in Cynthia's district had to allocate taxpayer money to send a private lobbyist to Washington?
McKinney is simply too busy representing Islam to tend to the needs of her own district!
Are People Slowly Figuring This Thing Out?
Are the people of this country slowly starting to figure out that the war on drugs exists mainly to provide a huge power and spending base for
politicians? These were the results of a CNN online poll as of about 5:45 this morning.
Should it be legal for adults to possess small amounts of marijuana?
| Yes | 90% | 4542 votes |
| No | 10% | 528 votes |
| Total: | | 5070 votes |
You can check the results for yourself to see how the vote stands right now. Here's your link:

Is your goal to get people off drugs? Fine, that's my goal too. Do you also want to accomplish this goal at a minimum cost and with minimum
interference with our civil liberties? Me too. Would you like to move toward accomplishing this goal while making our streets safer for your
family and mine? I'm with you again.
Now you just need to understand that the way to do this – the cheapest way – is through treatment, not
through criminalization.
Intemperate Thoughts
I understand that death row inmates in Florida are hot. They're so hot in their cramped little cells that they have to stand in their toilets with wet
towels draped over their heads to get relief. All we need is to get all of these death row predators standing in their toilets at one time – wire up
the plumbing – and then flush. Problem solved. Society safer.
Let's fast-forward about 10 years. On the 10th anniversary of the Islamic attack on New York and Washington, D.C., there will be a general
recognition that the biggest mistake made by our political class was the establishment of the Transportation Security Agency and the
"federalizaton" of airport security screeners.
We will also wonder how things got so bad that mothers were required to sip their own breast milk
before they could get on a commercial airliner.
Yesterday my pal Royal had some negative things to say about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Royal is upset that Justice Thomas
has "turned his back" on a program that got him to where he is today … affirmative action.
OK … so here are the new rules. As you study, learn
and mature in the study of law, you must remember that you are forever foreclosed. You are not allowed to express your legal, ethical or moral
opposition to anything.
Another Case for Loser Pays
Today we have a few stories about parents yelling "I'll sue" when something happens to their precious children.
First – Rowsell, Ga. Some poor young man has a birth defect that caused his left leg to not develop fully. It ends just above where the knee
would be. This young man's parents enrolled him in a competitive swimming program. Then they had him outfitted with a swim fin on his
prosthetic leg.
USA Swimming, the national governing body for competitive swimming, says that this is not legal. So – the kid's parents
announce they're going to sue. The board members of the River Club River Rats swim club don't want to have to defend a lawsuit – and they
don't want the liability – so the entire swim club may cease to exist, all because some parents would rather file lawsuits than follow the rules.
Second – government schools nationwide. Teachers are a big part of the problem, as is the bureaucracy. But parents have to take their
share of the blame too. That goes double for idiot parents who sue teachers over bad grades.
What Did You People at BMW Do With Israel?
Some group maintains a BMW Web site. That Web site will help you locate a BMW dealer near you. Again, no surprise. To help you locate your
friendly local BMW dealer the Web site provides you with maps of various parts of the world. You click on your country – state – city – and work
yourself down to your nearest dealer.
Ahhhhh. The magic of the Internet.
Now, let's say you live in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. You want to own a car without turn signals. That would be a BMW. You make your way to this
BMW map of the Middle East and look for Israel. Here … see for yourself. Click on the link and try to find Israel:

You see? The map shows Palestine. Palestine doesn't exist. It isn't a country. Who knows? Maybe whoever maintains this particular BMW
Web site won't sell in Israel. I just thought it was a bit curious.
