In an incredible decision that spits in the face of the beliefs and values of almost all Americans and our heroic forefathers, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco has ruled that it is illegal for students to say the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools or to even mention God in a public way.
Once some legal niceties are fulfilled, that will make reciting the Pledge of Allegiance a criminal offense in California, Oregon, Washington and six other Western states that are home to over 70 million Americans.
The court's ruling could easily be applied in the future to ban the Pledge and any mention of God from public life throughout the United States.

If the court's ruling is taken to its logical end, teachers and others could eventually be charged with criminal and civil penalties for even suggesting America is "one nation under God."
This incredible decision threatens the moral basis of America, our freedom and the future of our country.
An America without God is unimaginable, yet the ultra-liberal 9th Circuit seems determined to strip every mention of God from our public institutions.
What is next? Removing the words "In God We Trust" from our currency?
Ending the non-denominational prayer that opens every session of Congress?
Banning the singing of "God Bless America" at public events?
Making it illegal for the Boy Scouts to uphold honesty and belief in God?
Chiseling off references to God from the walls of the Supreme Court and Congress?
For such a decision to be imposed when America is at war and facing deadly terrorist threats makes it all the more insane.
Don't think the Supreme Court will side with good Americans like you and me. This is the same court that already has banned prayer in schools, upheld rulings that banned the display of the Ten Commandments, and even OK'd the burning of the American flag.

Already, leftists and secular humanists have banned any mention of God in school, including non-denominational school prayer, Bible meetings in school, and even the display of the Ten Commandments – the founding rules of our civilization.
The liberals have succeeded in removing God from the public schools. In His place we now have violence, drugs and worse.
We disagree with the leftists. We believe that God is the basis of our moral values and our political liberty.
In the immortal words of the Declaration of Independence, all men "are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
An America without God is an America without a future.
The Insane Court Decision
The 9th Circuit took issue with the words "under God" (as in "one nation under God") added to the Pledge of Allegiance in 1954 during the Eisenhower presidency, when America was battling for its survival against atheistic communism.
The words "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance are not a prayer, as the 9th Circuit would have you believe, nor are they an imposition of religious beliefs upon anyone.
They are a simple acknowledgement of the fact that our country is rooted in belief in God and that the overwhelming majority of Americans – both past and present – believe in God.

Children are not forced to recite the Pledge, and the few parents who object are free to arrange with their teachers to have their children sit silently or leave the classroom.
Recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance is nothing more or less than a public acknowledgement that – like any nation – we are bound together by essential common beliefs and values, including a belief in God.
Recitation of the Pledge is a reaffirmation of those values and public commitment to "liberty and justice for all.”
Yet this is the America the ultra-liberals now want to destroy.

Fortunately, the 9th Circuit ban on the Pledge will apply to only nine states and can still be overturned by the Supreme Court or by a constitutional amendment.
