There may be many answers to that question, but there is no answer that could satisfy even a 12-year-old.

It is now Passover in Israel. Some 90 minutes ago a Hamas suicide bomber walked into a dining room in the Park Hotel in the town of Netanya. The room was filled with Jews about to begin their Passover Seder. The bomber blew himself up.

As I write this, the death toll stands at 15, with about 100 wounded, many seriously.

As it exists right now, Israel is a failed country. It is a failed country not only because it cannot protect its own citizens, but also because it is failing in its mission.

The Jewish State was to be a country where Jews could come from around the world to find safe haven if they needed it. It was founded on the slogan of "Six million, never again." That slogan is an obvious reference to the number of Jews who had nowhere to turn and were slaughtered like animals during the Holocaust.

Another popular cry that many Jews use from time to time is "Jewish blood is not cheap."

As a Jew, I am sorry to say that both of the above slogans have now become nothing more than meaningless words.

How dare Israel sit back and do nothing to stop the Jewish blood from flowing freely from innocent men, women and children who are being killed simply for being Jews.

How dare Israel sit back and show the world that Jewish blood is cheap.

We already know, as we have seen throughout history, that the world won't stop it until it's too late. It will have to be Jews who stop it. It will have to be Israel that puts a halt to those who want to throw its people into the sea but are temporarily willing to watch them fall like viciously slaughtered animals.

Is Jewish blood not cheap? Six million, never again?
