The pickup truck, with pictures of the burning Branch Davidian compound and the words "Thy Kingdom Come" written on the side, was discovered about 6:30 a.m. in a post office parking lot near the memorial site of the 1995 bombing, the Daily Oklahoman reported.

The truck owner, Amo Bishop Roden of Waco, was later detained by police and questioned for about two hours before she was released without being arrested, the newspaper reported on its online edition.

Roden, who said she was a Branch Davidian, told the Oklahoman that she blamed the government for the tragedies at Waco and Oklahoma City. She said she did not condone the bombing, saying "it's never an excuse to harm a Christian child."

Roden said she was returning from a church meeting in Missouri when she decided to stop at the memorial, and the officers approached her as she stood at the memorial fence, weeping.

Police Capt. Charles Allen said police received a call about the suspicious truck about 7 a.m., and all the buildings around the memorial were evacuated as a precaution. Police also blocked off two streets near the memorial as officers searched the truck, he said.

Because the truck was parked on federal property at a post office, federal agents had authority to search the truck, Allen said. After nothing was found, Roden was allowed to go, and workers were allowed back in the office buildings, he said.

Roden said she was unaware that Wednesday was the original date for McVeigh's execution.

Attorney General John Ashcroft postponed the execution until June 11 to give McVeigh's lawyers enough time to examine newly discovered FBI files on the investigation.
