The Clinton Effect: More of the Truth Dribbles Out
John LeBoutillier
Friday, March 23, 2001
A source who knows "someone" in the Secret Service has relayed to me the un-sanitized version of what really happened several years ago down in Florida when then-President Bill Clinton fell and ripped a tendon in his knee.

At the time of the incident – which allegedly took place in the early morning hours at golfer Greg Norman’s house in Hobe Sound, Florida – White House spokespersons (don’t you love the Politically Correct terminology?) said the two men had been up late talking golf and the president fell down some stairs on his way to his guest house.

Many cynics at the time snickered. Radio’s Don Imus immediately sneered and said, "Yeah, sure. Sounds as if he fell going down some steps with his pants down around his ankles."

An admittedly hearsay source who talked to a Secret Service agent "in the know" now reports that the truth is that, true to form, Clinton was in the midst of a wild sex party. Prostitutes were there and he fell while carrying one "nude hooker on his shoulders."

What a wonderful commentary on America’s twice-elected president.

My gripe involves the obvious complicity of the travelling press corps in covering up this incident.

Certainly some of them at least suspected that the president had been involved in something he should not have been involved in. Did they seriously question White House, Secret Service and military sources?

Did they pursue the story relentlessly?

The fact of the matter is that the position of president basically means that all things and every thing is fair game. Presidents have no privacy. And they know it when they decide to run for office.

We the taxpayers pay for everything: the Secret Service – and there are documented and videotaped incidents where Clinton used agents to procure women's phone numbers for him – the medical personnel, the very expensive travel arrangements. We pay for it all!

Do we not have a right to know what we are paying for?

Clinton is a miscreant.

Everything he touches is corrupted.

Clinton affects even the way people think.

Those who loved to trash Richard Nixon – including his private life – rush to defend Clinton’s right to privacy. These types don't even blink when accused of having a double standard. That’s what Clinton has done to their so-called objectivity.

I do not believe the Secret Service is here to protect a president's privacy. They are here to protect his life.

We have a right to know what else they covered up during the past eight years.

John LeBoutillier will be a guest tonight – Friday, March 23 – on Bill O'Reilly's "The Factor" on the Fox News Channel.
