Clinton Is a Big Fat Liar
Dan Frisa
Friday, March 2, 2001
Bill Clinton is a big fat liar.

But not for the reasons you might think right off the bat.

This comes to mind now, after his ignoble departure, as several well-placed articles have appeared attempting to humanize him, to wit: He doesn't know how to use an ATM card, he can't figure out how to place a phone call, etc.

Don't believe a word of it!

No, Bill Clinton is a liar, not because of WhitewaterGate, TravelGate, FileGate, ChinaGate, BimboGate, PardonGate, or any of the other ScandalGates.

Rather, the entire Clinton persona is one big, fat lie.

That’s right. The whole "Clinton" thing is a huge whopper.

Remember that he never once got even 50 percent of the vote for president.

In 1992, he received 43 percent of the vote.

And in 1996 he got just 49 percent of the votes cast.

Both times Ross Perot pulled enough votes to reduce Clinton’s stature, and share, of the vote.

But the left wing of the mainstream media conveniently forgot this simple truth the minute he took office.

And so, with relish, the myths began!

Bill Clinton is brilliant, they said.

Bill Clinton has an uncanny ability to "compartmentalize," they told us.

He is the century’s best politician.

He is the Comeback Kid. This, after losing the 1992 New Hampshire primary!

And on and on and on.

Notice, the common aspect of all of these hyperbolic proclamations is that not one of them is an objective determination.

Every single one of these, and dozens of others, is a subjective opinion, put forth by the left, in an effort to build up their hero.

Like X-PREZ himself, this whole reputation thing is one big, fat lie.

The past eight years have been among the darkest in America’s history.

He lied to the nation whenever he opened his mouth, he broke the law whenever it suited him, he intimidated his opponents by threatening to harm them, he silenced other enemies by ruining their lives and reputations, he bombed countries on numerous occasions to divert attention from some of his dozens of scandals.

In short, Bill Clinton was - and is - a disgrace.

And now when nearly all of his "friends" and supporters have left him to feebly fend for himself, his true stature has become apparent.

Without the presidential seal to hide behind and enhance himself, he is but an empty shell, filled with nothing but ego, much like the little man behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz, with one notable exception: The little man behind the curtain had basically good intentions and ultimately redeemed himself.

Bill Clinton is a little man of little consequence.

America should move on and relegate him to the fate he truly deserves: disgrace in isolation, exiled to the St. Helena that is his sick mind.
