Monday, Nov. 5, 2001
NewsMax's new TV program, "NewsMax.com Reports," aired nationally Saturday on cable network CNBC – which reaches 80 million homes.

The half-hour program was hosted by NewsMax's Christopher Ruddy and co-host Barry Farber.

"We believe this is the start of a new effort to reach millions of Americans with news and information the major media won't report," NewsMax editor Christopher Ruddy explained.

This past week's "NewsMax.com Reports" included:

  • California Congressman Dana Rohrabacher. Rep. Rohrabacher revealed how he was thwarted by the CIA in helping pro-American Afghan freedom fighters, as the Clinton administration poured hundreds of millions of dollars into the Taliban.

  • Col. Stanislav Lunev. Russia's highest-ranking defector told why he believes Russia's suitcase bombs are in the hands of terrorists, and already positioned in the U.S.

  • Gen. Jack Singlaub. The former chief of staff of U.S. forces in Korea said Bill Clinton's policies caused the current disaster, which Singlaub believes will likely lead to a larger war.

  • Wilson C. Lucom. A former State Department official, Chuck Lucom explained how a simple reward plan could bring the current war to a quick conclusion.

NewsMax hopes to be on national TV at least once a month, with increased frequency in the months ahead.

NewsMax has become the No. 1 source for news online and also in print, through our great monthly magazine, for Americans tired of the liberal media spin. In raw numbers NewsMax's outlets draw more readers than the decades-old National Review, American Spectator or newcomer Weekly Standard.

We have achieved this success in a short time – just three years – because we have one of the most dedicated and loyal readerships of any news source in the country.

NewsMax wants to continue our incredible growth – and we plan to be on the airwaves and cable channels much more.

NewsMax readers who would like to help us in our effort can help sponsor our TV outreach program by joining our "Off-the-Record" Club, which helps fund this important effort.
