New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani held a late-night press conference Monday to announce that a woman in New York may have come down with inhalation anthrax.
Giuliani said the woman worked at Manhattan's Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital.
Last week, she developed flu-like symptoms and on Sunday checked into Lenox Hill Hospital.
The mayor said the woman worked near the hospital's mailroom. He noted that the case was not confirmed as anthrax, and results of tests should be forthcoming soon.
