Exclusive: Gore Lawyers Plan Suit to Overturn Bush Victory

A reliable source within the Gore camp informs NewsMax.com that lawyers this very minute, retained by the Gore-Lieberman 2000 campaign, are feverishly putting the finishing touches on a lawsuit that will seek to overturn the imminent victory by George W. Bush in Florida.

The suit is expected to be filed within the next 24 hours and will apparently be a request by the Gore forces to get state officials in Florida to decertify, or declare invalid, the election.

No further details can be revealed at this time, but clearly Gore is going to try to secure in a courtroom what he appears to be unable to do at the ballot box.

Bush campaign high-level officials in Austin have come down hard upon the Broward County GOP in pressuring them to drop their allegations, made Tuesday and reported first on NewsMax.com, of widespread vote fraud by the Democrats.

In doing so, the Bush officials in Austin seem to be underestimating the willingness of the Gore camp to attempt to delegitimize the Florida victory of Bush and with it the entire election.
